GBA: Transfer save file from VisualBoyAdvance to mGBA
First open the game with the mGBA core plugin so that all necessary folders are created.
While running the game, click the cog wheel icon on the HUD bar, choose Core > mGBA.Navigate to the folder

Open your game and click 'No' if prompted to 'Continue where you left off'
The 2 file systems are not compatible. Mac is HFS I believe. WIndows is NTFS or FAT32. WIndows cannot read Mac files and visa versa. Do never write something you have no idea about. Mac OS by default provides Read/Write over FAT and Read over NTFS. Windows comes with NTFS as.
SNES: Transfer save file from SNES9x to Higan
First open the game with the Higan core plugin so that all necessary folders are created. While running the game, click the cog wheel icon on the HUD bar, choose Core > Higan.
Navigate to the folder
